Bloomex cheered on the runners at this year’s Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon

We had such an amazing time at the Scotiabank Toronto WaterfrontMarathon this year! Over 23,000 people participated in the 5K, half and full marathon and thousands more came out to support them.

It was a great day for Canadian athletes as Leslie Sexton and Trevor Hofbauer became the Canadian marathon champions, while Emily Setlack and Tristan Woodfine both won their half-marathon races.

Bloomex was in Nathan Phillips Square handing out teddy bears and carnations for donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (CRS) in support of breast cancer awareness month. We had so much fun meeting everyone and we raised over $680 for breast cancer research!
As the Official Florist to Canada Running Series, Bloomex also provided beautiful centrepieces for the official press conference, floral arrangements for the VIP tent and other areas of the race site, bouquets for the race winners, as well as gift baskets for VIPs and CRS supporters both in Toronto and across Canada.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the race and breast cancer awareness month and good luck to everyone training for next years race!
