Olympic Recap: Team Canada in PyeongChang 2018

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Team Canada rocked it at the the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang! Our athletes brought home 29 medals which included 11 gold, 8 silver and 10 bronze medals, a record for Canada!

As the official florist of Skate Canada, we were on the edge of our seats watching our figure skaters take the ice. They've all had such an amazing year and this was truly the crowning achievement! Not only did they win gold in the team event, but Kaetlyn Osmond, Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford skated to Olympic glory in their events as well.

Canada’s darlings, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, set fire to the ice, winning gold in both the short and long programs! Although we are sad to see them retire from competition, they deserve a much needed break….no wait….we’re kidding….PLEASE DON’T GO!!!

We are also a proud supporter of Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton, which had the largest showing the organization has ever seen in the Games. These guys killed it! Justin Kripps and Alexander Kopacz tied with Germany for gold in two-man bobsleigh while Kaillie Humphries and Phylicia George won bronze.

We want to thank all of our athletes for their dedication and perseverance, proving once again, that Canada is a force to be reckoned with!
