Bloomex Spreads the Love this Valentine's Day

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, Bloomex.ca has once again partnered with the Canadian Cancer Society to publish a unique Valentine gift in where a percentage of sales will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society for cancer research. In December, Bloomex.ca announced the launch of the Give Hope basket that was also uniquely designed for the Canadian Cancer Society. The success of the basket was beyond expectations. A staggering 164 Give Hope baskets were bought during Nov. 20th and December 31st, raising over $1,300 for cancer research.

Every day, we all make a difference with the money we raise to invest in the best research so that we can identify, how cancer develops, how best to treat it, and how to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and survivors", says Angela Malik, Customer Service Manager

According to the Canadian Cancer Society, 62% of people diagnosed with cancer today survive their disease. In the 1960s, the survival rate was 1 in 3.
